Hi, I am hoping for some advice, as about 18 months ago someone started setting up betting accounts in my name, I found them after seeing searches on my Noddle monitoring. Yes as checkmyfile is a waste of money as usually inaccurate, out of date, useless if you complain and doesnt even show any credit account from experian. I’ve noticed that checkmyfile have updated their website. It’s really bad now. I recently did a credit check on the checkmyfile website. According to that site the data seen by eqifax is 650 while the data seen by landlords/employers is 730. The application on its whole is 670. Are these scores ok? Also, are theses scores ok to apply to open bank accounts/credit cards? And how good is the checkmyfile website? thanks for the help. For both accuracy and avoiding the need to cancel, don't use Checkmyfile. Use the three direct free services instead. Clearscore, MSE Credit Club, Credit Karna. Does anyone know if checkmyfile has a specific date that it updates each month? My file is showing September updated but nothing for October yet. I've heard of checkmyfile.com before but never bothered with it but looking at the site this morning I see they do a 30 day free trail and also that they provide multi agency reports. Checkmyfile 'unlimited access' - anyone else had issues? yenool Posts: 169 Forumite 9 March 2010 at 6:06PM in Credit cards In a previous post I was advised to cancel my subscription to checkmyfile. I reckon my Credit rating still bad, but Not that bad as checkmyfile.com was making me believe. I’m so angry (ARrrrGH!!), because knowing what I know now I would make many financial decisions I have done differently, which cost me a lot of money … a part from paying for this scam subscription with checkmyfile.com….
